Who We Are

Phil and Ginny Brooks
Phil is on the board of trustees at High Mowing, he started S. P. Brooks Post and Beam.  Ginny, Phil's wife, runs their rental house business and has a love of cooking that surpasses all.  Their land is the site of the initial building process of the tiny house and Phil is the main supervisor of the project.  They have very graciously let the students in this project use their tools, land, and home for the construction.  They live in southern New Hampshire along with two  dogs and two cows.

Brad Miller
Brad is the Horticulture teacher at High Mowing as well as a member on the board of trustees.  He is the faculty member who is responsible for the three students in this project whilst they are living on campus.

Chaz Marie Rodgers
Chaz is a rising senior, she joined this project in the winter, a little while after the idea began.  Her love of creativity and learning has driven her through this project. She enjoys singing, riding motorcycles, traveling, and art of all types. Her home is in central New Hampshire and is a boarding student at High Mowing.  Chaz finds a true connection with building this house and hopes to build more tiny houses in the future.

Jason Elder
Jason (a rising senior) enjoys playing guitar, reading, any type of sports, and exploring his surroundings. His strongest quality is without a doubt his curiosity (which may get him into trouble more often then not) and his love for learning. Jason is from far out west and is a boarding student here at High Mowing.

William Mussman
William is the third member of the HMS student crew, he is also a rising senior.  He enjoys everything to do with nature and being outdoors and is creating his own field guide.  Will is away in Ireland for the first two months of summer so he will join for the last few weeks of mostly interior work.  He is from the West Coast of the US and is a boarding student at High Mowing.

Grandad (The Truck)
Grandad was Chaz's grandfather's truck.  It has a lot of character and get's us to Lyndeborough and back every day so we are very grateful for it.
